Some inhalants can be extremely dangerous.
Some inhalants can cause sudden cardiac arrest ("sudden sniffing death"), while repeated use can damage the brain, nerves, liver and kidneys. Because different products contain different chemicals, the effects and risks vary widely.
Overview
Inhalants are a broad category of volatile chemicals that produce psychoactive effects when inhaled. They include products such as lighter refill gases, solvents, aerosols and certain industrial chemicals.
Although different inhalants vary in their effects, many produce a very short-lived combination of intoxication, dizziness and dissociation. The experience often lasts less than a minute before rapidly fading.

My Review
Overall Experience
When I was fifteen one of my friends found out about huffing, and he asked me to go huff lighter fluid with him. I would originally say no, but I'm stupid and like trying out new stuff so I went with him. We huff and huff and huff and then we look at each other slumped onto some rocks in an abandoned building laughing to ourselves. The high lasts 30 seconds and it feels like a knock-off ketamine, and it also makes you non-verbal and stupid, because we could barely talk at that point. After a few minutes I got up and threw that can away, that was a waste of time and a waste of brain cells.
What I Enjoyed

What I Didn't Enjoy
- Extremely short duration.
- Severe mental impairment.
- Felt unintelligent and confused.
- Not enjoyable compared to other dissociatives.
- Significant health risks.
